In the standard version of Minecraft, banner creation is limited to just six pattern layers, which already provides an enormous number of combinations - over 800 quadrillion options. However, many of these combinations are not suitable for creating beautiful and stylish banners that can be used to decorate buildings, apply to shields, or wear as headgear.

The Infinite Banner Layers mod completely removes these limitations, allowing you to set any number of layers for banners. To configure the maximum number of patterns, use a simple command:

/infbanlay <count>

If you want to know the currently set value, simply enter:

/infbanlay
