Ipdnaeip's Enchantments
This mod expands the Minecraft world by adding 31 new enchantments. Most can be obtained through standard enchanting methods, but some require special conditions to acquire.
Special Acquisition Methods
Accumulating - a rare reward from fletchers after successfully defending against a raid.
Obscuring - a rare drop from endermen when the player is wearing a pumpkin on their head. Chance increases with the Looting enchantment.
Pork chopper - a rare drop from piglin brutes. Chance also increases with Looting.
Precision - created by combining two enchanted books containing exclusively Multishot and Marksman.
Configuration and Changes
The mod provides flexible settings to modify standard Minecraft behavior:
- Shields can be enchanted at the enchanting table by default, not just through books. This feature can be disabled.
- Cross-enchantments - crossbow enchantments work on bows and vice versa, but they cannot be obtained through enchanting by default. Can be enabled.
- Piercing on bows - the Piercing enchantment is available for bows and affects arrows. Disabled by default, can be activated.
- Standard enchantments on crossbows - Power, Punch, and Flame work on crossbows. Not available through enchanting by default, but the feature can be enabled.
- Velocity-based damage - arrow damage depends on its velocity. The Draw enchantment increases velocity and thus damage. Damage is reduced by default for balance. Can disable the correction.
- Sniper zoom - zoom scale depends on the player's field of view setting. Can be disabled for fixed zoom.
