Item Filters (Old)
The Fabric version has been merged with the Forge version project!
Item Filters is a library mod used by mods like FTB Quests. It adds filter items that allow for advanced filtering and item selection. You can easily create your own filters using the API.
If you want to use it in quests, create any filter (or use an existing one by pressing Shift+Right Click to change the type) and right-click to edit it. Then in the item task, select an item from your inventory. The icon will be automatically created as a scrollable list of valid items, but you need to change the task title yourself.
Available Filters:
- NOT — Inverts the child filter (not Apple)
- OR — Matches if any child filter matches (Apple or Carrot)
- AND — Matches if all child filters match (Diamond Sword and enchanted)
- XOR — Matches if either filter A or B matches, but not both ("forge:ingots/copper" or "forge:ingots/tin" tag names but not both)
- Tag Name — Matches if the item has an ore name ("forge:ingots/copper")
- Creative Tab — Matches if the item is in a creative tab ("Building Blocks")
- Mod — Matches if the item is from a specific mod ("YABBA")
Filters in Development:
- Advanced Item Filter — Has options to ignore damage/metadata and NBT Mode (like current item tasks)
- Fluid Filter — Checks for items with liquid and their amount
- Enchantment Filter — Checks if an item has enchantments and their level
- Name Filter — Checks if the name contains a specific string
- Bee Filter — Checks for bee type and species
- EMC Filter — Checks for EMC range
- Chicken Filter — Checks for chicken type, growth, strength, and gain
- Fuel Filter — Checks for fuel items and their burn time
