Jake the dirt chicken - Unusual Chicken with Earth Cover

Creation History

This unique modification was inspired by a real person named Jake who worked in the Creeperhost office. His amusing habit of running around the office making chicken sounds and constantly talking about earth inspired the developer to turn him into an unusual creature in the Minecraft world.

Usage Features

The main feature of this earth chicken is that to obtain resources, it must be standing on grass or dirt. Only under this condition will it drop earth blocks.

Using regular shears on the chicken allows you to remove its outer layer, obtaining podzol or mycelium. To obtain more valuable resources, you'll need to upgrade your tools:

• Nether Shears - allow mining netherrack or basalt
• End Shears - provide the ability to obtain end stone or purpur blocks

Cover Regeneration

The chicken regenerates its earth cover only when standing on grass or dirt. It's also worth noting that these creatures spawn in the world exclusively on surfaces suitable for them.

Reproduction and Cloning

Regular breeding is not available for these chickens, but you can create copies of them. To do this, use mushroom stew - the result will be an adult chicken that requires time for psychological maturation. Only after completing this process will you be able to use shears on it.
