JJElytraSwap

JJElytraSwap mod fundamentally changes the approach to using elytras in Minecraft by offering automatic switching between chestplates and elytras during flight.

Automatic Equipment Switching

When you're in the air and press spacebar, the mod automatically replaces your chestplate with an elytra. After landing, the elytra is swapped back to the chestplate - all happens without your intervention. Use the elytra as usual, and the mod takes care of timely equipment changes.

Compatibility Features

This mod operates exclusively on the client side. When using on multiplayer servers, it's recommended to review the rules or consult with administrators beforehand.

Smart Armor Selection

Starting from version 2.0, the mod uses an improved algorithm for selecting the optimal chestplate. The system calculates points for each chestplate and chooses the option with the highest score:

• Protection: 2 points per protection unit
• Toughness: 1 point per toughness unit
  • Diamond Chestplate: 2 toughness points
  • Netherite Chestplate: 3 toughness points
  • Other Materials: 0 points
• Enchantments:
  • Protection: 2 points per level
  • Mending: 0.5 points
  • Custom Name: 0.25 points
  • Unbreaking: 0.06 points per level
