Journey Titles
Adding Location Titles on Your Map
Presenting to you the enhanced version of the original datapack that allows creating interactive text announcements in different regions of your game world. This modification opens new possibilities for territory marking and player coordination on servers.
Multi-tier Range System
Create titles of different tiers to control the display distance. Each available option has unique characteristics of the action zone:
- Copper Title - visible within 10 blocks
- Iron Title - reaches 20 blocks
- Gold Title - extends to 50 blocks
- Diamond Title - covers 100 blocks
- Netherite Title - maximum distance of 200 blocks
Creation and Setup
To activate the system, place a sign with text on the front side, then use any available title on it. One sign can accommodate only one title. If the sign is destroyed, the used title item will be returned to the player.
A system feature is automatic text formatting - adding glow to the sign after installing the title will make the message underlined.
Visualization and Interaction Features
For convenient navigation, an identification tool is provided: while holding a title item, all existing signs with titles in the world are marked with an icon of the corresponding tier in the form of a small block.
The mechanism includes support for overlapping zones of action of different titles. The message redisplays only after leaving the range of a specific title and subsequently returning to its area.
Technical limitation: the maximum number of simultaneous titles in one world is limited to 2147483647 due to the use of integer UUID identifiers.
