JPG Screenshot - Creating Screenshots in JPG Format

This mod allows you to save Minecraft screenshots in JPG format, which significantly saves disk space. Instead of standard PNG, you get compact JPG files.

Screenshot Controls

Use the following hotkeys to create screenshots:

• F2 - save screenshot in JPG format
• ALT+F2 - save screenshot in standard PNG format (modifier key can be configured)

JPG Format Advantages

Using JPG instead of PNG reduces the space occupied by screenshots by approximately 80%. This is especially useful when frequently taking screen captures.

Compatibility and Requirements

The mod works in all Minecraft versions starting from 1.17. For translation support in various languages, installation of Fabric API (or QFAPI for Quilt) is required.
