Just Some More Ores

What is this mod?

Just Some More Ores is a simple yet engaging addition that brings variety to Minecraft's standard progression by introducing five completely new ore types. Each of these materials can be used to craft their own armor sets and tools, opening up alternative development paths for players.

New ore types and their features

Chromium - an ore that generates in the Overworld. In terms of protective properties, durability, and enchantability, it resembles iron but outperforms it in all metrics.

Rosium - another ore from the Overworld with characteristics comparable to diamond. An excellent alternative for those seeking reliable protection and powerful tools.

Lucium is exclusively mined in the Nether, primarily in soul sand basins within soul sand valleys. This material surpasses diamond in quality but still falls short of netherite.

Mocylite - an extremely rare ore found in obsidian pockets that can sometimes be discovered underground in the Overworld. It can also be found in obsidian pillars on End islands. Mocylite combines the best features of both netherite and diamond.

Enderite spawns in limited veins throughout the End, similar to ancient debris in the Nether. In terms of characteristics, this material even surpasses netherite.

Additional features and future updates

With this mod, obsidian now naturally appears in the Overworld, containing deposits of mocylite in some locations.

Future plans include adding special bonuses for wearing a full armor set, which will encourage players to experiment with different equipment combinations, even if they provide less base protection.
