JustEnoughTooltips

JustEnoughTooltips is a valuable addon for JEI (Just Enough Items) that fundamentally simplifies the search and viewing of recipes for various items and blocks in Minecraft. Instead of constantly opening separate interfaces, this modification displays all necessary information directly in the game world—recipes appear right below your crosshair.

When you are in any interface, special tooltips show recipes for items under your cursor. If JEI can display a recipe, JustEnoughTooltips guarantees that you will see it during gameplay.

Controls

All keys can be customized to your preferences, and the display position of tooltips can also be adjusted.

Left Alt — shows the recipe or usage for the current block or item. In normal mode, this is the item in hand; with an empty hand or while holding Shift—the block you are looking at. In interfaces—the item under the cursor. Scroll the mouse wheel to cycle through different recipes.

Z — switches between crafting recipes and usage for the current object.

X — cycles through recipe categories. In the standard version, crafting, smelting, brewing, and others are available. With mods supporting JEI (e.g., Thaumcraft), additional crafting options like infusion and crucible crafting will appear.

F — automatically fills the current interface with ingredients from the viewed recipe (requires active recipe viewing). Works similarly to the fill button in JEI.

Pressing the standard recipe viewing key in JEI (default R) opens the currently viewed recipe in the main JEI interface.
