The La Cucaracha mod is entirely dedicated to one creature—cockroaches! These nasty insects inhabit damp structures, infest the undead, and simply wait for the right moment to dart out and feast on dropped scraps. Cockroaches fear light and creatures larger than themselves, but when enough of them gather, they form a dangerous swarm that's best avoided.

What Can You Do with Cockroaches?

If you're quick enough, you can catch a cockroach in a bottle. Such a pet can be placed anywhere—it will never despawn. And if you mix it with gunpowder in a brewing stand, you'll get a splash bottle of cockroach—a disgusting but effective weapon! This takes PvP battles to a whole new level!

Cats, frogs, and villagers have special interactions with cockroaches. Plus, these insects absolutely love music and start dancing near jukeboxes!

Where to Find Cockroaches?

Cockroaches can be found in woodland mansions, ancient cities, and abandoned villages. Sometimes they emerge from slain undead or simply appear where food is lying around.
