LAN Properties

LAN Properties is a modification that significantly expands the standard "Open to LAN" interface in Minecraft, providing full control over all server settings, similar to the server.properties file on a dedicated server.

What is LAN Properties?

This mod provides access to all server.properties parameters when starting a world in local network. Now you can fine-tune server options directly from the game interface without manually editing configuration files.

How to use the mod?

Install the mod in the usual way and click the "Open to LAN" button in the pause menu. An additional settings button will appear nearby, allowing you to customize all available server parameters.

Hybrid Mode

LAN Properties introduces an additional parameter called hybrid-mode.

When online-mode is disabled but hybrid-mode is enabled, the server uses a hybrid approach to player authentication:

• If an account with the player's username exists → The server retrieves the official UUID from Mojang's session servers.
• If the session servers are unreachable or the username does not belong to a valid account → The server falls back to using an offline UUID.

This ensures that premium (online) players always maintain their correct UUID, while still allowing offline players to join when needed.
