What is the Leap Mod?

The Leap mod adds a new "Leaping" enchantment to Minecraft that allows players to perform a double jump in mid-air. This unique enchantment can only be obtained as rare treasure - found in chests, through fishing, or purchased from librarian villagers. The enchantment is exclusive to boots and comes in only one power level.

The double jump feature can be activated at any moment when your character begins falling downward. This opens up new possibilities for movement and exploration in the Minecraft world.

Leap is part of a series of mods focused on improving movement in the game. While Leap doesn't require other mods to function, it's worth noting that similar developments exist:

• Dash - adds an enchantment for boots that allows forward dashing
• Step - introduces an enchantment that enables characters to step up entire blocks like horses do

It's important to note that the Leap enchantment is incompatible with the Step enchantment on the same pair of boots, but it works well with other standard enchantments like Frost Walker and Depth Strider.
