In ages long past, when the world was first taking its familiar shape, a traveler named Thalen journeyed across endless lands seeking relics mentioned in decayed scrolls and ancient legends. These weren't mere objects but fragments of something greater - handles of lost hammers, couplings of shattered blades, and heads of broken pickaxes.
In his book, known as the Lost Pages, Thalen revealed an astonishing secret:
"The fragments yearn to become whole. When united, they awaken... growing mightier than they were before. But be cautious - approaching them, I felt an invisible presence. Touching the final fragment, I sensed a chill in the air. I saw nothing, yet understood... I was not alone."
The records end abruptly here. Thalen's body was never found. Only moss-covered ruins in sepulchral silence and scattered shards of a forgotten era remained as witnesses to this story.
