Legacy Skin Fix

Attention: Prism Launcher developers have already solved this issue in a more efficient way, so we recommend using their solution if you have that option.

This mod enables loading modern player textures in older Minecraft versions from 1.3 to 1.7.5. Thanks to this update, you'll be able to see current character skins even when playing on outdated game versions.

Currently, the functionality only works in single-player mode. Implementing multiplayer support technically doesn't present significant difficulties - it would only require configuring skin loading for each player separately rather than globally. If you need this feature, notify the developer.

Important note: In Prism and MultiMC for versions before 1.6, there's a bug where the username and session token aren't set when launching with the noapplet parameter required for Fabric Loader to work. This issue has already been fixed in specially prepared builds, and there's a request to implement the fix in main Legacy Fabric versions, but at the time of writing it hasn't been accepted yet. It's worth noting that this problem doesn't exist in the standard Minecraft launcher.
