LetsEncryptCraft
This mod solves a specific problem faced by Minecraft mod developers. If you create mods with update checking functionality or other web integrations, you may have noticed that the standard Java version from Mojang doesn't support Let's Encrypt certificates.
LetsEncryptCraft automatically installs the necessary Let's Encrypt SSL certificates during game startup. This only happens if the system detects that the current Java version indeed doesn't support these certificates - thus eliminating duplicate work.
To use it, simply add the mod as a dependency in your project. Certificate installation is performed in the constructor, so you don't need to make changes to your mod's code.
If you prefer to avoid additional dependencies, the project's source code is open and available under the MIT license. You can freely copy the necessary code fragments and integrate them directly into your project.
It's important to note that this mod has no relation to the Let's Encrypt organization - it's an independent solution for the Minecraft development community.
