Locator Compass
With the release of Minecraft 1.21.6 update, the game introduced the Locator Bar - a new interface element that replaces the standard experience bar and shows the player's position in the game world.
However, this innovation has a significant drawback: the progress indicator to the next level is constantly hidden when you're not collecting experience points. Because of this, you can't see how close you are to reaching a new level.
The Locator Compass modification solves this common problem by changing the interface behavior. Now the Locator Bar will only appear when you're holding a compass in your hand, while at other times the familiar experience bar is displayed on screen.
This gives the compass additional utility, making it a much more valuable and practical item in your inventory. Now the compass serves not only for spatial orientation but also for enabling the navigation bar on demand.
