LogitechGLights - Keyboard Lighting in Minecraft
This client-side mod provides integration between Minecraft and Logitech G-series keyboards. It allows configuring key lighting colors based on their functional categories. Settings can be adjusted either through the configuration file or via the in-game menu, which opens by pressing the C key (this key can be reassigned to any other).
In-game configuration menu
Main Features
The mod offers the following functions:
- Individual lighting color settings for each key category
- Special color modes for specific situations:
- Lighting for all keys when the player dies
- Highlighting the key corresponding to the selected inventory slot
- Color for keys with unknown categories (for unexpected situations)
Limitations and Requirements
Important considerations for mod operation:
- Support only for keyboards with individual RGB key lighting (such as G910)
- Automatic switching between standard and game lighting profiles when alt-tabbing works only when in a game world
- Requires 64-bit system with 64-bit Java installed
For Developers
Developers can utilize additional capabilities:
- Creating lighting effects for individual keys as well as the entire keyboard
- Adding descriptions for key categories in the in-game settings menu
If you have suggestions for improving the mod or have found an error, please visit the project page on GitHub.
Please note: the mod supports ONLY Logitech keyboards! Support for keyboards from other manufacturers (such as Corsair) is not planned, as I do not have the appropriate hardware for debugging integration!
