Plugin Overview

LoreAnvil is a practical Bukkit plugin that provides the ability to change item names and descriptions through the standard anvil interface in Minecraft.

Supported Versions

Native Minecraft Version: 1.18.2 Tested Versions: 1.19.4, 1.18.2, 1.16.4 Supported Version Range: 1.13 to 1.19.4

How It Works

Changing Item Name: Place the item in the left slot of the anvil, then enter the desired name in the text field.

Adding Item Description: Put the item in the left slot and paper in the middle slot of the anvil, then enter the description text.

Removing Item Description: Simply place the item in the middle slot of the anvil without using the left slot.

Text Formatting

The plugin supports standard formatting codes starting with the & symbol for changing text color.

For Minecraft versions 1.16 and above, the use of HEX color codes in the format &#66ccff is available, allowing selection of any shade from the RGB palette.

Permission System

• loreanvil.name - permission to change item names • loreanvil.lore - ability to add descriptions to items • loreanvil.color - use of color codes in names and descriptions • loreanvil.remove - removal of existing descriptions

It's important to note that all listed permissions are granted to players by default without additional configuration.
