LOTR: Renewed Extended

This is a Minecraft Forge 1.16 modification currently in beta development stage. It serves as an extension for the main The Lord of the Rings Mod: Renewed.

Important requirement - for this addon to function, you need to separately install the main The Lord of the Rings Mod: Renewed.

Development is handled by a small team of enthusiasts whose goal is to bring back all content from the previous LOTR: Legacy version into the updated LOTR: Renewed build.

Available Features

• Transferred and enhanced major structures of The Shire: taverns, hobbit holes, windmills, and farmlands. The content includes an original new construction - a hobbit picnic spot.
• Implemented NPC trading system. Added hobbit bartenders, hobbit farmers, oddment collectors, and Rivendell and Galadhrim wanderers.
• Migrated most items, blocks, weapon types, and armor.
• Numerous transferred items received updated, higher-quality textures.
• Restored chestnut trees that grow in The Shire region.
• Added fellowships and a specialized settings menu for this modification.
• Developed additional blocks and items: new fur types, dry stone masonry variants, and various lantern designs.

Upcoming Development Goals

Among the main priorities of the development team are the following areas:

• Adding remaining structures and biomes from the LEGACY version
• Including additional NPCs and implementing wandering trader functionality
• Implementing a system for hiring combat units.

Usage Terms

Usage in modpacks is permitted provided Curseforge system is used or special permission from developers is obtained.
