This datapack solves one of the most annoying problems in Minecraft - the disappearance of dropped items after character death. Now your equipment and resources will patiently await your return without vanishing after the standard 5 minutes.

The datapack's operation is completely invisible to the player. It contains no active functions that could affect game performance. After removing the datapack, no traces of its use remain in the world.

For those who want to receive information about protected items, a special command is available: /tag @s add get_feedback

If you use mods, plugins, or other datapacks that automatically remove dropped items, you can exclude protected belongings using the protected_from_despawn tag.
