Lucky blocks

This datapack adds 5 unique lucky blocks to the game with a progressive crafting system. The process begins with creating a special lucky block crafting table - simply drop an iron ingot onto a regular crafting table.

Next, you'll need a wooden pickaxe to place in the new crafting table. It will receive the Luck I enchantment - a special enchantment created for this datapack. Using this pickaxe to mine coal, you have a chance to find lucky ore.

Break the lucky ore with an iron pickaxe or better tool to obtain luck essence. To create a coal lucky block, place the luck essence in the center of the crafting table and coal around the edges in a cross shape.

Place and break the coal lucky block to receive a random item. Sometimes among the rewards you'll find a stone pickaxe with Luck II enchantment.

Use this pickaxe to mine iron ore for a chance to get another variety of lucky ore. It will provide a new type of luck essence that can be used to create an iron lucky block using the same crafting pattern but with iron ingots instead of coal.

This progressive system repeats for the following materials: coal, iron, gold, diamond, and finally netherite.
