LuckyBlock Island
Mod Overview
LuckyBlock Island is a unique Minecraft datapack specifically designed for skyblock gameplay. This project supports both single-player sessions and multiplayer matches with up to five competing teams.
Core Features
Each island randomly generates with a starting tree, and lucky blocks spawn beneath its roots every 10 seconds. It's important to note that the probability table for these blocks differs significantly from the original Lucky Block mod and is specifically balanced for skyblock gameplay mechanics.
Gameplay Mechanics
Players begin their adventure in a special lobby where they select their team by standing on corresponding wool blocks. After pressing the "Start Game" button, each team is transported to their designated island.
Lucky blocks generate beneath the initial tree's roots provided the location is free of blocks (with the exception of lava and water). The system allows for creating enhanced block versions: by surrounding a dropper with gold ingots, players can craft 2x lucky blocks. Combining two such blocks results in sequential upgrades to 4x, 9x, and 20x levels.
Team Mode
New players joining an ongoing game must use the command /team join [red|yellow|green|blue|purple] [player_name]. Players can choose between cooperative play with the goal of defeating the Ender Dragon or competitive PVP mode. Teams without members don't receive their own islands.
Generation Specifics
During the first in-game day (20 minutes), the probability of obtaining End Portal frames is significantly reduced. The system also guarantees specific resource drops when reaching certain thresholds:
- At 100th block without 10 obsidian: 4 obsidian and 2 crying obsidian
- At 101st block without gravel: 2 gravel and 10 soil
- At 102nd block without iron: 1 iron block

Important Notes
The appearance and core characteristics of lucky blocks are based on the LuckySkyBlock project but have been significantly enhanced: added starting lobby, block refresh system, multi-team PVP mode, and completely reworked probability tables.
Developers strongly advise against using the /function lbob:reset command to restart games due to potential technical issues. For starting a new game, it's better to create a completely new world.
