Lunar Origins Core
This utility mod provides additional elements for working with custom origins. All presented features were originally created for my own custom origins but have now been separated into a standalone project for greater convenience.
New Enchantments
The mod adds two special enchantments that activate their potential only when used with specific origins. The "Clear Vision" enchantment is designed exclusively for helmets and helps compensate for visual disturbances associated with origin features. The "Molding" enchantment can be applied to any armor - it allows creatures with non-standard anatomy to wear armor that would normally be unavailable to them. Both enchantments belong to the treasure category and can only be found in chests or obtained from villagers.
Underwater Equipment
Glass and amethyst bowls are fragile headgear that provide underwater breathing for land creatures and, conversely, allow aquatic inhabitants to breathe air. When submerged, the bowls gradually fill with water, while on land they slowly empty. For quick filling, you can use right-click on a water source. In the inventory, you can transfer liquid between bowls, as well as exchange water with buckets and glass bottles.
The diving helmet works on a similar principle but has significantly greater durability. However, it limits visibility with a special visual effect.
Eye Protection
Goggles improve vision underwater for land creatures and on land for aquatic inhabitants. When equipped in water, the goggles fill with liquid; in air, they remain dry. When taking damage, there is a 10% chance of leakage. Currently, goggles occupy the helmet slot, but in the future they may become a separate accessory.
Sealing Means
Bowl sealant for bowls and diving helmets reduces the likelihood of leaks when using right-click. Over time, the protective layer wears out, especially with active use of equipment. Super sealant provides complete protection against leaks and does not require renewal.
Food Products
Kelp-wrapped carrot is a nutritious product created by wrapping a carrot in dried kelp. Aqua gummies and glimmering aqua gummies are light snacks with low nutritional value, designed to support aquatic origins.
Potions and Effects
The clear vision potion eliminates blur and other visibility impairments characteristic of certain origins. Created from an awkward potion and kelp-wrapped carrot, the duration of action can be increased with redstone.
The hydration effect is intended for aquatic creatures and other origins with special hydration needs. The potion is created from an awkward potion and a glimmering gummy, and can also be extended with redstone.
Additional Elements
Glasses of various materials and other accessories do not have standard crafting recipes and are intended for integration with custom origins.
