Undying Enchantment (Fabric/Forge/NeoForge/Quilt)

This datapack adds a unique "Undying" enchantment for shields to Minecraft, combining the benefits of a regular shield and a totem of undying. No longer do you need to choose between protection from attacks and protection from death - now your shield can perform both functions simultaneously.

Enchantment Features

The Undying enchantment can be obtained in several ways: through the enchantment table, in loot chests, or when trading with villagers. When a shield with this enchantment is equipped, it activates the totem of undying effect upon receiving lethal damage, saving your character from death.

Commands for Administrators

To give enchanted shield to players:

/loot give @s loot undying_enchantment:undying

To apply the enchantment to the current item:

/enchant @s undying_enchantment:undying
