Hero's Elytra Optimizer

This mod addresses a longstanding bug in Minecraft related to elytra flight mechanics. The main issue that many players encountered was that after removing the wings, the character continued to glide through the air as if still in flight.

How It Works

The modifier adjusts the elytra usage mechanics, ensuring that removing the wings immediately terminates the gliding mode. This is particularly important in situations where the player unexpectedly removes the elytra during flight - now the character immediately begins to fall, as should be according to game logic.

Compatibility

Works excellently with most other mods, except those that make their own modifications to elytra functionality. Conflicts may also arise with modified items that provide flight capabilities, as this mod prevents gliding without active elytra usage.

Installation

Simply place the mod file in your Minecraft game's mods folder. For proper operation, Fabric API is required - make sure this library is installed beforehand.
