Maille - Craftable Chainmail Armor in Minecraft

The Maille mod is a simple yet useful addition that makes chainmail armor available for crafting through the workbench. Instead of relying only on mob drops, you can now manufacture this unique armor yourself.

The main feature of the mod is a completely redesigned chainmail crafting system. The process consists of several stages: first, individual links are created from iron nuggets, then meshes are formed from the links, which are already used to create full armor.

Resource economy is an important advantage of the mod. By default, creating chainmail armor requires only 89% of the materials from the cost of iron armor. This makes chainmail an affordable alternative in the early stages of the game.

The visual component has also been improved. The mod includes updated textures and models of chainmail items, making them more detailed and attractive. The chainmail now really looks like it's woven from metal rings.

The mod settings allow you to adapt the crafting process to your preferences. You can adjust the number of links obtained from nuggets, the number of meshes from links, choose between 2x2 and 3x3 workbench for creating meshes, and also decide whether to use iron ingots for creating chainmail boots - after all, walking on chains is not very comfortable, good arch support is needed!
