Make Me Whole Again
This datapack solves a common problem for Minecraft players - it allows you to return building materials to their original state. Too many stairs, slabs or wall blocks? Now you can easily convert them back into full blocks using new crafting recipes.
How it works
Stairs back to blocks
To convert stairs, place them in a 2×2 square in the crafting grid - you'll get 3 corresponding building blocks.
Slabs into full blocks
Place two slabs of the same type in a 2×1 vertical line on the crafting table to turn them into one full block.
Snow layers
Similarly to slabs, two snow layers placed vertically in the crafting grid combine into a snow block.
Carpets return to wool
Three identical carpets (including moss carpets), arranged horizontally in one line on the crafting table, transform back into a wool or moss block.
Walls are easy to convert
The simplest recipe: place any wall block in any slot of the crafting grid to get the corresponding building block.
Special cases and compatibility
To prevent conflicts with original Minecraft recipes, the method for creating chiseled blocks has been changed. Use full blocks instead of slabs, as shown in the image below. The modified quartz block is an exception: to create it, place quartz blocks in a 2×2 square.
Future plans
The developer plans to update the datapack when new full Minecraft releases come out. Technical support for compatibility with Fabric mods is also available - Discord users can request additional integration with specific modifications.
