MaLiLib (Forge)

Attention: Currently, this project represents an unofficial port of the MaLiLib mod for Forge, created based on the Fabric version. This is an experimental build that does not have official developer support. You can use it if it works in your modpack, but please note that bug fixes and new feature additions to these Forge versions are not planned until official ports are created.

All current documentation, tutorials, and issue discussions relate to the original Fabric version of the project. We recommend referring to it for necessary information.

Development History

These projects on CurseForge were originally created by user Kazuto11927. On May 7, 2022, project rights were transferred to developer masa/masady, who plans to release official Forge port versions in the future.

Porting Plans

Official Forge port versions will only be created after completing the extensive rework and refactoring of the main code, which is currently being developed for version 1.12.2 LiteLoader. There is a huge amount of work ahead in rewriting the malilib code and other client mods, as well as implementing numerous planned new features and improving existing capabilities.

After completing this work, porting will first be done for Fabric, and only then will corresponding versions for Forge be created. Given the developer's current workload with real work, exact implementation timelines are currently unknown.

Known Issues

In the current early Forge port versions, an issue has been identified with applying hotkey settings. Changes to hotkey configuration may not apply immediately after closing the settings menu.

Important: To apply changes to hotkey settings, you will most likely need to exit the world and re-enter.
