Manual Morph Tool

Manual Morph Tool is a specialized instrument that functions as a universal analog for various modification wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and magical wands. Unlike the standard version, this modification provides exclusively manual control without automatic switching.
Main Features
The main item added by the mod is the Morphing Tool, which is crafted using a special recipe. This unique tool can emulate the functionality of almost any wrench-like item from other mods, making it an ideal solution for large modpacks.
To add a new tool to the collection, simply craft the Morphing Tool together with the desired item. As a result, you get a full-fledged original item with complete compatibility of all its functions, not just a copy or emulation.
Control Features
- Manual switching: The tool changes its shape only during active player interaction
- Main hand: Morphing occurs only when the tool is in the main hand (setting can be changed in configuration)
- Transformation lock: To prevent automatic shape change, simply hold the tool in the off-hand
- Manual selection: By holding Shift and scrolling the mouse wheel, you can manually select the desired tool shape
Additional Functions
When the tool is not transformed into other items, it can be used to rotate blocks through the Forge rotation system. It supports all vanilla blocks and most modded blocks.
To remove attached items, you need to transform the tool into the desired item, then crouch and press the drop key.
Configuration Settings
The mod's configuration file includes:
- Ability to attach any items (disabled by default)
- Setting the hand for morphing (main or off-hand)
- Blacklist of mods whose items cannot be attached
- Whitelist of names for automatic attachment (wrench, screwdriver, hammer, etc.)
- Whitelist of specific items for attachment
- Alias system for redirecting between mods
Note: Although the morphed tool can be used in crafting, this is not recommended as it will lead to the loss of all attached items.
