Max Health Fix
This mod fixes a long-standing bug in Minecraft where the "Max Health" attribute is ignored when a player joins the game. Due to this bug, characters with health values above the standard limit of 20 units get reset to the base level when re-entering the world.
For example, if a player wears a helmet that gives +10 to maximum health and exits the game with 25 health units, upon re-entry their health will be reset to 20.
The mod can be installed on both the client and server. When installed on the client, the error is fixed for single-player worlds. If the mod is installed on the server, the bug will be fixed for all players, even those without the mod on their client.
To test the mod's functionality, follow these steps:
1. Create a new world with cheats enabled and creative mode turned off.
2. Use the /give command to get a helmet with a bonus to maximum health.
3. Equip the helmet - your maximum health will increase from 20 to 30 (15 hearts).
4. Restore the character's health above 20 units.
5. Save the game and exit.
6. Enter the world again.
7. Without the mod, health will reset to 20; with the mod, it will remain the same.
