Minecraft Remade

An extensive datapack containing over 900 files that introduces balanced changes to the vanilla game version and adds numerous new features.

Main Features

This project represents a comprehensive overhaul of Minecraft gameplay, including subtle adjustments to existing mechanics and the implementation of completely new functions.

New Features

Food Effects

• Consuming melon slice gives melon seeds
• Eating glow berries grants glowing effect for 10 seconds

Extended Recipes

Smelting and Blasting:

• Accelerated processing of raw ore blocks
• Smelting bells, clocks, and golden horse armor yields gold ingots
• Blasting tuff converts it to andesite
• Processing glow ink sacs and berries produces glowstone dust

Shapeless Crafting:

• Combining gravel and clay creates dirt
• Transforming stone into black stone through smoking
• Creating dirt from sand and mud
• Converting leather to rabbit hide

Smithing Transformations:

• Obsidian + ghast tear = crying obsidian
• Stone + stone = deepslate
• Sweet berries + glowstone dust = glow berries

Loot Changes

Leaves:

• Stick drops with weight 2
• Sapling drops with weight 1
• Mangrove leaves don't drop for performance optimization

Ores:

• Ancient debris drops as netherite scraps with Fortune enchantment consideration
• Ores drop with cobblestone or cobbled deepslate
• Improved crop harvesting drops

World Generation Settings

• Increased ore discard chance when exposed to air
• Enhanced flat world generation presets
• Reduced frequency of amethyst geodes and ancient debris
• Increased redstone and quartz quantities
• Zombie villages contain no crops

Disabled Features

• Smelting ores with stone
• Linear white wool crafting
• Mossy block recipes from vines
• Map extension on crafting table
• Stick from bamboo recipe
• Rabbit stew from red mushroom recipe
