Immersive Technology

This addon expands Immersive Engineering capabilities by adding full implementation of Rankine and Brayton cycles for steam and gas turbines respectively.

Main Multiblock Structures

Alternator - generates electricity when connected to a steam turbine.

Distiller - device for producing distilled water from regular water.

Boiler - machine that produces steam from distilled or regular water (distilled water is more efficient). Requires biodiesel or other suitable combustible fuels to operate.

Solar Reflector - multiblock structure that directs sunlight toward the solar tower.

Solar Tower - installation that produces steam from distilled or regular water (distilled water is more efficient). Requires at least one solar reflector to operate.

Steam Turbine - massive machine for generating energy from steam when connected to an alternator.

Gas Turbine - less massive machine for producing energy from combustible fuels when connected to an alternator.

Steel Tank - container with larger capacity than IE's iron multiblock tank, also provides faster fluid output.

Cooling Tower - converts exhaust steam back into distilled or regular water.

Additional Elements

Redstone Timer - device for process automation.

Trash Cans - for fluids, items, and energy, prevent accumulation of excess objects on overloaded conveyor belts.

Open Barrel - collects rainwater (twice as much during thunderstorms). Warning: loses water in hot biomes and the Nether. Input is from the top or manually with a bucket, output is only from the bottom.

Creative Barrel - provides unlimited supply of fluids, accepts input manually with a bucket or through pipes. Output is from all sides. Cleared by Shift+click with an empty hand or changes fluid when using a bucket.
