Mended Minecarts
The Mended Minecarts modification, created by Inspector Talon and 2No2Name, fixes the most frustrating issues with minecarts in Minecraft and adds useful information displays for them. Additionally, you can customize the maximum speed of minecarts.
Key Features
Use the /mendedminecarts command with parameters for fine-tuning minecart behavior.
Main Settings:
- AccurateClientMinecarts — synchronizes minecart display on the client with the server version
- NoClientCartInterpolation — disables vanilla client-side minecart position smoothing
- AlwaysSyncCartPosition — server constantly sends exact minecart position to the client
- CartSpeed — customizable speed limit for minecarts
- DerailingCartFix — prevents minecarts from derailing
- RotateCartToRail — automatically rotates minecarts to avoid collisions on parallel tracks
Minecart Information Display:
The system can show various data about minecart status:
- Exact position coordinates
- Velocity movement vector
- Absolute speed value
- Fill level (for storage minecarts only)
- Whether it's on ground
- Whether it's in water
- Slowdown rate (when moving on rails)
- Estimated stopping distance
- Bounding box boundaries
- Lock status (for hopper minecarts only)
- Wobble parameters
- Data precision (number of decimal places displayed)
