AutoTools
AutoTools is a smart assistant for manual labor in Minecraft that automatically selects the optimal tool for any task. The mod analyzes your entire inventory and chooses the most effective tool for mining blocks or attacking mobs, taking into account mining speed, tool level, enchantments, and damage dealt.
Tool Selection Settings [default]:
- Toggle [disabled]: If activated, the mod will constantly automatically select the best tool.
- Disable in Creative Mode [enabled]: Automatic selection does not work in creative mode.
- Keep Slot [disabled]: The mod preserves the selected slot when switching tools.
- Prefer Hotbar Tools [enabled]: With equal mining speed, tools on the hotbar are preferred.
- Prefer Low Durability [disabled]: Tools with lower durability have priority when parameters are equal.
- Switch Back After Use [disabled]: Returns the previously selected item to hand after completing the action.
- Display Damage [enabled]: Shows the weapon's damage indicator when hovering the cursor.
- Change For Entities [enabled]: Automatic selection of tools with maximum damage when looking at mobs.
Block Behavior:
- Switch Only If Necessary [disabled]: The mod changes tools only when required to break a block.
- Always Prefer Fortune [disabled]: Uses Fortune enchantment for gravel and leaves.
- Prefer Silk Touch: configurable for different materials and ores.
Custom Tool Settings:
You can create custom tool configurations in JSON format, for example:

AutoTools supports Forge, NeoForge, and Fabric (with ModMenu integration for Fabric). The mod works exclusively on the client side and is compatible with most servers and popular modifications.
