MMD OreSpawn

Important Notice

This mod is exclusively responsible for ore generation in the world and has no relation to the "Ore Spawn" mod from version 1.7.10 that added new mobs and other content. If the name, which accurately describes the mod's functionality, confuses you, simply skip it.

What the Mod Does

MMD OreSpawn is a library mod for Minecraft that provides advanced control over the ore generation process in the game. The mod doesn't add any new content, mobs, or items - its sole purpose is managing ore spawning in the world.

How It Works

The system automatically analyzes all JSON files located in the config/orespawn3 folder and creates ore generators in the game based on these configurations. This allows for fine-tuning of the resource generation process.

Integration with Other Mods

Adding OreSpawn support to your own mod is not complicated. Developers have access to detailed documentation on JSON file formats and implementation examples.

Updating to Version 3.3.0

Version 3.3.0 brought significant internal changes and modification of one configuration file format. When updating from the MMD OreSpawn 3.2 series, it's recommended to:

1. Delete the following files from the "config/orespawn3/sysconf" folder:

   features-default.json
   replacements-default.json

2. Backup all custom settings, especially the "orespawn.json" file

3. Edit the "config/orespawn3/sysconf/known-configs.json" file by removing the line containing "orespawn". File before editing:

After editing:

Alternative option - completely delete the "config/orespawn3" directory if you have no custom settings.
