Mob Drops Storage Blocks
Store Your Loot with Special Blocks!
This Minecraft mod introduces specialized storage blocks for resources dropped by mobs. Each block is crafted from nine identical items obtained from specific creatures.
Available Storage Blocks
Currently, the mod includes blocks for the following materials:
- Rotten flesh from zombies
- Bones from skeletons
- Spider eyes from spiders
- Gunpowder from creepers
- Blaze rods and blaze powder from blazes
- Feathers from chickens
- Leather from cows
- Sticks - special building block
Version 1.1 Features
Update 1.1 introduced new capabilities:
- Added Cow Pattern and Mooshroom Pattern blocks
- New drop items: Cow Hide and Mooshroom Hide
- Creepy Moss Block with unique texture
- New creeper drop: Creepy Moss
- Leather Strips (crafted from hide, 3 pieces make 1 leather)
Update 1.2
Version 1.2 brought significant changes:
- Renamed "Creeper Print" block to "Block of Creepy Moss"
- Added decorative carpets and mats from various materials
- Explosive blocks: Creepy Moss blocks and carpets explode with flint and steel
- Gunpowder blocks now function as enhanced TNT
- Improved textures for all blocks
- Simplified leather crafting system
- Stick bundles break into 9 sticks when destroyed
Version 1.3
The latest major update added:
- Block of Ink Sacs - causes temporary blindness when stepped on or punched
- Nests for egg storage with unique 3D model
- Skeleton Arm - finally drops from skeletons!
Skeleton Arm Features:
- Unique 3D model
- Rare drop from skeletons
- Sword with double attack speed
- Damage comparable to iron sword
- Can be recycled into 7 bonemeal
Additional Effects
Some blocks have special properties:
- Ink Sac blocks cause blindness and create particles
- Blaze rod and powder blocks create light flame effects
- Many blocks make sounds of corresponding mobs when hit
Practical Benefits
These blocks not only save storage space but also serve as excellent building materials. Since all used resources are easily farmable, creating large-scale constructions from these blocks won't be difficult.
