Bug Fixes for Mods

This modification was specifically designed to resolve various issues in other Minecraft mods. Currently, it includes only one fix, but its value lies in its versatility - the mod will work completely independently and won't cause crashes, even if the mods it's intended to fix are missing.

What exactly the mod fixes:

At the moment, the mod contains a fix for a problem from the TorchMaster mod (issue #48 in the project's GitHub repository). You can review the details of this issue via this link.

Criteria for adding fixes

New fixes are included in this mod only when two conditions are met: when there's an open issue in the repository and when a pull request with a ready solution for it has been created. This approach guarantees that each addition has been verified and is genuinely useful to the community.

Can I request a fix?

Technically, the author can fix any problem, but will most likely not do so. The main motivation is addressing only those errors that the author has personally encountered. However, the developer is open to suggestions: anyone can create a pull request in the ModFix repository, and the author will try to review such requests.

Should I add this mod to my modpack?

Definitely not, unless you're absolutely certain that this specific fix is necessary for you. The mod is intended for a narrow audience experiencing particular problems.

Why make a core mod instead of a fork?

The developer considered it impractical to fully fork the original mod just to fix one minor bug. Instead, a compact core mod was created that fully complies with all Forge recommendations for such modifications.
