Mod Settings for Fabric

The Mod Settings mod for Fabric offers a convenient way to configure all installed modifications through a unified configuration menu!

Similar to the "Mod Options" functionality in Forge, this modification adds a settings screen in the style of vanilla Minecraft with simple buttons for accessing your mods' configurations.

You can instantly open this menu using the Mod Settings hotkey. This eliminates the need to remember all the hotkeys for settings of various modifications. By default, the F6 key is used, but it can be changed in the standard "Controls" menu.

The idea for creating this mod came from the repeated need to enter the Mod Menu list, scroll to the desired mod like Tweakeroo, and click the configuration button on the opposite side of the screen. With Mod Settings, you get direct access to the settings screen with just one button, and with a standard number of mods, they usually all fit on one page.

The mod requires Fabric loader and Fabric API to work. More about dependencies below.

Compatibility

Mod Settings works great together with Mod Menu. Having the Mod Menu mod is not required, but if it is installed, Mod Settings attempts to place the "Mod Settings..." button next to the "Mods" button from Mod Menu.

Mod Settings uses the API created by Mod Menu to get information about how to display mod configuration screens. All modifications that can be configured through Mod Menu will appear in the Mod Settings menu, and conversely - mods that don't support configuration through Mod Menu won't appear in Mod Settings.

Dependencies

The mod requires Fabric API to work. If you have a modified Minecraft installed, it's most likely already present in the system.

Known Incompatibilities

The Content Creator Integration mod versions 1.9.3 and older contains an incompatible implementation of the Mod Menu API. This issue is fixed in newer versions of CCI.
