Modern AE2 Additions
A small modification project that extends the functionality of Applied Energistics 2 by implementing various useful features. Initially, development included porting features from NAE2, but over time completely original elements have also appeared.
Main Features
Pattern P2P Tunnel - Allows one pattern provider to serve multiple machines simultaneously by connecting to the tunnel's input. The output tunnel returns the connection to the pattern provider, ensuring proper operation of molecular assemblers.
EU P2P Tunnel - Transfers EU energy from GregTech-Modern using standard taxation coefficients similar to other types of P2P tunnels.
Dense Co-Processing Units - Specialized co-processing blocks for crafting CPUs that provide more than one processing thread. Each block corresponds to a specific storage type and provides a number of threads equivalent to the kilobytes in the component (4, 16, 64, and 256 threads respectively).
Multi P2P Tunnels - Tunnels with multiple inputs, implemented as separate components. Due to implementation specifics, they are not automatically compatible with custom P2P tunnels from other mods.
Faulty Memory Card - A tool for automating routine memory card operations. In the current version, it allows for mass copying of device configurations and setting up priorities/values for storage buses and level emitters with automatic incrementing/decrementing of parameters.
Semi-Vibrant Glass - A modified version of vibrant glass where particles mimic behavior in a Wilson cloud chamber. Also provides an open API for other mods wishing to implement similar visual effects.
