Modular Item Frame Mod

The Modular Item Frame modification is inspired by the SuperCraftingFrame project and represents its spiritual successor. This mod adds only one new block to the game - the Modular Frame, which becomes an empty foundation for further improvements when placed.

Functional Modules

Installed frames can be upgraded with various removable modules. Currently available options include:

• Item Module - classic frame for displaying items that can be placed on walls, floors, or ceilings
• Nullifier Module - instantly deletes items from player's hand (hold Shift and right-click to retrieve the last deleted object). Also works with chests, tanks, and energy cells, transforming them into trash containers
• Tank Module - compact container for storing various liquids
• Teleport Module - allows creating linked portals between two frames for instant travel
• Crafting Module - enables recipe configuration and automatic item creation using resources from player's inventory or connected chest
• Dropper Module - automatically ejects items from connected storage with adjustable range capability
• XP Module - specialized container for accumulating and storing game experience
• Vacuum Module - collects scattered items from the ground and transfers them to connected storage

Configuration Tools

The mod also includes a Screwdriver - a multifunctional tool for managing frames with two main modes:

• Module Removal - removes installed module from frame, returning it as an item
• Interaction Mode - allows configuring various module parameters:
  • Teleport: Shift+RMB to set first location, RMB to establish connection
  • Tanks: set input/output modes
  • Droppers: adjust action range
  • Crafting modules: access to configuration interface
  • Item frames: rotate objects
  • XP modules: select operational modes

Planned Updates

The developer plans to add several new modules and features:

• Tool Module - for using weapons and working tools
• Enhanced Vacuum Module - improved version of item attraction functionality
• Barrel Module - classic storage solution like a barrel
• Privacy Feature - special stickers to restrict other players' access to frames

Technical Requirements

Mod requires LibrarianLib version 4.12 or higher to function properly.
