MojangDark
Tired of the bright Minecraft loading screen straining your eyes? This mod fixes that! Annoyed by other mods flashing red before changing color? This mod handles that too!
This addon brings back the feature from version 1.17 snapshots that allows you to enable a monochrome logo during loading, replacing the bright red background with complete black. By default, this option is enabled (since this is the entire purpose of the mod). When activated, the mod changes the loading screen background color to black and adjusts the text colors from Forge for better readability on a dark background.
However, this setting can be disabled in the Accessibility Settings, exactly as implemented in the 1.17 snapshots.
It's important to note that the mod provides a black background from the very start - no transitions from red to black. Only black throughout the entire loading process!
When version 1.17 releases, the option selected in the Accessibility Settings will automatically apply in the new version, and this mod will become unnecessary since this feature will be part of the standard game set.
Note: The mod uses some unstable methods to change the color of the early loading screen. Please report any issues on GitHub.
