The mod offers a rich set of functions that make interacting with axolotls more deep and engaging. You'll encounter many new varieties of these creatures, each with its own unique appearance and characteristics.

The breeding system deserves special attention - now you can purposefully obtain specific axolotl variants through special crossbreeding. Individual bucket textures are provided for each creature type, adding visual variety to the game.

An interesting mechanic is the ability to equip axolotls with big dripleaves, which serve as additional armor. Damaged armor can be repaired with bone meal. Axolotls also now realistically open their mouths when fed.

Axolotl Catalog

The mod includes a special "Axolotl Catalog" containing detailed information about all available varieties. This valuable item can be obtained through trade with fisherman villagers who use barrels as their workplace.

MavAPI installation is required for mod versions 2.0.0 and higher. Axolotl variant identifiers are listed in the upper corners of the catalog. Rare varieties have a 1 in 1200 chance of appearing for all rare variants.
