More Bed Variants
Finally, you can sleep in comfort! This mod solves the long-standing problem of beds not matching their surroundings. Now all 16 bed colors are available in every wood type, not just standard oak.
What's New?
The mod adds a whopping 208 new bed variants to the game! This means you can find the perfect bed for any interior and building style.
Special Bamboo Beds
In addition to the main variants, the mod includes two unique bamboo beds inspired by the bamboo raft and bamboo blocks (including the stripped variant). These designs were developed with community participation.
Improved Performance
Starting from version 2.0.0, the mod uses regular block rendering instead of block entity rendering. This significantly improves performance and allows the use of custom models from resource packs.
Built-in Resource Packs
The mod already includes two ready-to-use resource packs:
- More Pillowed Bed Variants - beds with additional pillows
- Connected variant - connected bed textures
Compatibility with Other Mods
The mod is fully compatible with Quad 1.3.0+ and its block replacement system. This means that villages and other structures will generate beds made from the region's appropriate wood type.
Crafting Issue Solutions
For mods that add new wood types (such as Biomes o' Plenty, Let's Do series mods, and others), special compatibility datapacks are available. They resolve recipe conflicts and allow crafting beds from any wood type as you would expect.
