More Enchantments

The More Enchantments mod significantly expands the enchantment system in Minecraft by adding numerous new beneficial effects for various types of equipment. All new enchantments are applied in the same way as standard enchantments from the vanilla game.

Armor

Armoring - increases the number of defense points provided by armor

Steeliness - enhances armor toughness

Boots

Agility - increases movement speed

Leaping - enhances jump height and reduces fall speed

Sturdiness - increases knockback resistance

Weapons

Furor - accelerates weapon swing speed

Tools

Range - extends reach distance for tools

Pickaxes

Compression - adds a chance when mining coal ore to obtain the equivalent diamond resource

Chrysopoeia - adds a chance when mining iron ore to obtain the equivalent golden resource

Metallurgy - automatically smelts mined metal ores

Wisdom - increases the amount of experience gained from mining

Elytras

Gliding - improves flight efficiency

Ender Gliding - increases flight efficiency in the End

Ascending - allows pressing the Action Key (default G) to lift off from the ground

Descending - makes landing with an elytra safer

Winging - automatically activates your elytra when falling

Iron Wings - provides defense points

Leaden Wings - provides defense points while not flying

Beat Of Wings - allows pressing the Action Key (default G) to flap wings while in mid-air

Gust Of Wind - allows pressing the Action Key (default G) to increase flight speed while in mid-air

Durability

Indestructibility - makes items unable to lose durability (Untradeable Treasure)

Reparation - slowly repairs items over time

Restoration - prevents an item from breaking when worn out, but removes one level of the enchantment (Treasure)

Mod Compatibility

Fully supports JEI Enchantment Info, Enchantment Descriptions, and CoFH Core mods.

It is recommended to use Overloaded Armor Bar and Armor Toughness Bar mods to improve the display of Armoring and Steeliness effects.

If you use other mods that affect the same properties, it is recommended to use Attribute Fix to prevent incorrect stacking of effects from different mods.

If you want your mod to be compatible with these enchantments for ores, you need to add them to these tags (this can also be done via datapack if the mod doesn't support it):

Metallurgy: forge:ores/metal

Compression: forge:ores/coal

Chrysopoeia: forge:ores/iron

Language Support (temporarily discontinued)

This mod previously supported: English (en_us), German (de_de), Russian (ru_ru), Spanish (es_es), Japanese (jp_ja), Portuguese (pt_br). Some translations may be incomplete.

Configuration File (discontinued)

The configuration file was discontinued starting from version 1.4.0 due to issues with the used plugin and version. You can still configure the mod by using version 1.3.1. All applied changes will also affect newer versions of the mod, but you won't be able to modify and balance new enchantments added by newer versions of the mod.

The mod is designed for Minecraft Forge. Files are available for versions 1.16.3 - 1.16.5, 1.19.2, 1.19.4, and 1.20.1.
