More Metal Grates
Enhance your Minecraft experience with a wide variety of metal grates through this mod. Originally, Minecraft 1.21 only introduced copper grates, which inspired the developers to create an extended collection of grates made from different metals.
Crafting is very straightforward: arranging the appropriate blocks in the same way as copper grates are made in vanilla gameplay. The only exception is netherite: for its creation, you need ingots instead of full blocks.
Simple trick to save resources: use a stonecutter! With it, you'll get four times more finished products from the same amount of materials.
Quantity of materials for crafting recipes
- Amethyst: 1 block = 4 grates (or 1 block + stonecutter = 1 grate)
- Quartz, smooth quartz, lapis lazuli, redstone: 4 blocks = 4 grates (or 1 block + stonecutter = 1 grate)
- Iron, gold, emerald: 16 blocks = 4 grates (or 1 block + stonecutter = 1 grate)
- Diamond: 64 blocks = 4 grates (or 1 block + stonecutter = 1 grate)
- Netherite: 32 ingots = 4 grates (or 1 ingot + stonecutter = 1 grate)
