More MobGriefing Options - Advanced Mob Behavior Control
The More MobGriefing Options modification provides the ability to fine-tune mob behavior rules for each type of creature separately. This allows flexible management of which mobs can alter the environment and which cannot.
Compatibility and Installation
Starting from Minecraft version 1.19.1, the mod must be installed on both the server and client. For versions 1.19 and earlier, installation on the server only is sufficient, although the client version is also supported.
Server Configuration
The configuration file is located in the "serverconfig" folder within the world directory and is named "moremobgriefingoptions-server.toml". For every registered creature in the game, a separate setting is automatically created, regardless of whether that creature respects the standard mobGriefing game rule.
For each type of mob, three configuration options are available:
- true: Allows the mob to alter the environment
- false: Prevents the mob from altering the environment
- default: Uses the standard Minecraft mobGriefing game rule
Management Commands
The mod adds two main commands for convenient settings management:
/mobgriefing <entity_name>- shows the current setting for the specified mob type/mobgriefing <entity_name> <true|false/default>- sets a new value for a specific creature type
The entity name must correspond to one of the available mob types in the game.
