More Slabs And Stairs

This Minecraft Fabric mod significantly expands building possibilities by adding slabs and stairs for various materials that were previously unavailable in the standard game. Now you can create exquisite architectural structures from coal, iron, diamonds, emeralds, gold, lapis lazuli, obsidian, bedrock, calcite, quartz bricks, end stone, as well as all types of concrete and terracotta.

Each new block retains all the characteristics of the original material: hardness, blast resistance, and the required tool for mining. This ensures full compatibility with game mechanics and maintains balance.

Block Crafting

Most slabs and stairs can be crafted either on a crafting table or using a stonecutter, providing flexibility in construction. The exception is bedrock slabs and stairs - they can only be crafted on a crafting table. Since this requires bedrock blocks, they remain unobtainable in survival mode without using cheats.

Useful Features

Coal slabs and stairs have a unique property - they can be used as fuel for a furnace. One coal slab allows smelting 40 items, while a stair can smelt up to 60 items, making them an effective alternative fuel source.

The mod also adds the ability to reverse-craft quartz blocks - now you can break them down into 4 pieces of nether quartz, similar to other mineral blocks in the game.

Four slabs arranged in a square on a crafting table create two full blocks

All slabs from this mod, like standard Minecraft slabs, can be converted back into full blocks by placing four slabs in a square on a crafting table.

Multilingual Support

The mod is fully translated into several languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and Italian, taking into account the regional characteristics of each country.
