More Tool Materials
This compact mod expands Minecraft's arsenal by adding tools and armor made from emeralds, lapis lazuli, redstone, and obsidian. While mods with emerald tools already exist, I couldn't find one for version 1.16 that wasn't made with MCreator, didn't introduce completely new materials or tool types, but still included lapis, redstone, and obsidian sets. So I created my own solution!
Material Characteristics
- Emerald - has properties similar to diamond, but with improved enchantability
- Lapis Lazuli - resembles iron in durability, but works faster, deals slightly more damage, and surpasses even gold in enchantability
- Redstone - similar to iron in basic parameters, but significantly speeds up work at the cost of reduced enchantability
- Obsidian - close to netherite in durability, but slower to use and less receptive to enchantments
Compatibility and Usage
The mod is developed for Forge and supports Minecraft versions 1.16.x and 1.17.x. Porting to Fabric is not planned, but you can do it yourself. Free use in modpacks is allowed with credit to the author (ravenbuilder934).
