More Wolf Armors

The More Wolf Armors mod expands the protection capabilities for your loyal companions by adding four new types of wolf armor. Instead of the standard armadillo scute armor, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite armor sets are now available.

Creating the upgraded variants requires using the wolf armor upgrade template along with the corresponding materials. Iron, gold, and diamond armors are created by upgrading the basic armadillo scute armor, while the netherite version is a further improvement of the diamond armor.

All new armor types effectively absorb damage, just like their vanilla counterpart. Repair is done by simply using ingots - each ingot restores 1/8 of the total durability, matching the performance of armadillo scute armor. If needed, this ratio can be changed in the mod's settings.

A special feature of the new armor sets is the preservation of visual pet identification. Since the armor covers the collar, colored stripes matching each wolf's collar color have been added. This allows players to easily distinguish their pets even when fully equipped.

Unlike the basic version, the new armor supports durability-related enchantments (this feature can be disabled in the configuration). However, it's important to note that the Unbreaking enchantment works similarly to player armor - "Unbreaking III" increases overall durability by only ~42%.
