More Bats Variants - Bat Diversity for Minecraft
New Life for Minecraft Bats!
This mod completely transforms the familiar cave dwellers by adding five unique bat species with their own characteristics, habitats, and diets. Note: Geckolib library is required for the mod to function properly.
🦇 What Bat Species Are Added?
Desmodus rotundus (Vampire Bat) 🩸
Appears in swamps, savannas, and savanna plateaus exclusively in caves. Feeds on pumpkin pies and figs from Ficus carica trees.
Pteropus (Flying Fox) 🍂
Inhabits mangrove swamps, bamboo jungles, jungles, and sparse jungles, living in underground spaces. Also prefers pumpkin pies and figs.
Craseonycteris (Bumblebee Bat) 🐝
The smallest bat in the game! Found in caves of bamboo jungles, regular and sparse jungles, mangrove swamps, and regular swamps. Diet is similar to other species.
Classic Bat 🦇
Now even the traditional bat has dietary preferences! Appears in birch forests, dark forests, flower forests, regular forests, old growth birch forests, windswept forests, dripstone caves, and lush caves. Feeds on pumpkin pies.
Hypsignathus (Hammer-Headed Bat) 🛠️
Inhabits mangrove swamps, various jungle types, savannas, savanna plateaus, and windswept savannas. Loves pumpkin pies and figs.
🌿 New Fruit - Figs!
Ficus carica trees appear in the game, generating on plains, windswept hills, and windswept gravelly hills. Figs are harvested similarly to sweet berries - by simply right-clicking on the tree. Use bone meal to accelerate tree growth.
